Virgin Coconut Oil, as its name implies, is the first light pressing applied on the fresh coconut kernel. No heat is applied and thus the “active constituents ” extracted remain “undisturbed’.

Refined coconut oil is made from dried (cooked) coconut, called copra. The main difference in these two is that virgin retains a pleasant, tropical coconut smell, while retaining all of the many nutrients that can benefit your skin, such as vitamin E and antioxidants.
